Ken Weaver, Dallas entrepreneur is
starting his first full race season with the NASCAR Craftsman
Truck Series in 2004.
Ken, a race enthusiast and emerging rookie will be driving the #08, PhoneCo
Chevrolet Silverado Truck for KW Racing. The KW Race team was formed in
2002 and acquired the #20 Truck Team from Joe Gibbs of Joe Gibbs Racing
Ken made six promising starts in the 2003 NCTS season showing consistency
with top 15 finishes at Fontana, Dover and Gateway. Ken had also competed
in All Pro, ARCA, Winston West, Southern Outlaws, Romco and The World of
Outlaws Series.
2004 marks Ken's run for "Rookie Of The Year" in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck
Series.
During the off-season KW Racing added 60 years of experience with Bobby
Dotter and Tommy Morgan of Green Light Racing, which should further enhance
Ken's aggressive driving style.
Tommy has made the trip to the Winner's Circle 14 times in recent years
and Ken firmly believes that all the pieces are in place to put the #08
PhoneCo Chevy in the winners circle and keep it there.
